I haven't heard from Trinity either. and I'm from Romania, so we're neighbors.
Well, keep us posted if anything!

D was accepted. Her letter contained a reference to her on-campus interview. It was a very thoughtful and personal letter. But D is not as excited as I was hoping she would be - she fears Trinity is overwhelmimgly preppy (she is not) and that she won't find kids like her there. Those of you currently at Trinity, what can you say about the student body?

Trinity's student body is superficially preppy, but is, i.m.o, very diverse. I, too, was nervous before coming to Trinity that I wouldn't fit in, but I have come to love the school.
"Preppy" does not connote a type of person, only a manner of dressing, i.m.o. There is no question that students at Trinity are "preppy," but I would contest anyones notion that Trinity has a "preppy" attitude. The vast majority of people I know are really nice, hard working, and also know how to have a good time.

cate90: how are your standardized test scores?

i got a 28 on my ACT

I'm also nervous about the preppy aspect of Trinity but I'm staying overnight soon so I'll be able to get a first-hand account.

I hope you enjoy your overnight.

Staying here and speaking with the students gives you a much different perspective than that of the person who only goes on a tour and observes from afar.

Accepted!!
I am a bit worried about the fin aid part though. Does anyone have any idea when they mail the FA packet to internationals?? Oh by the way, which courier service do they use??

I got accepted through the Individualized Degree Program for Adults!!! The director of the program personally called me to give me the great news!! Trinity is tied with the College of Wooster as my first choice...decisions, decisions, decisions.
