My D got in and we are from NJ. The admissions office told me they never post online acceptances. I hope they do offer a lot of money. TCNY only offer $3500 in merit aid. Still waiting for the rest. Not too imopressed with them.

maize: I was told "early April" by someone in the Financial Aid office.

soozi1: Don't you mean TCNJ not TCNY?

By the way, if your son/daughter also applied to Dickinson, according to a poster on the Dickinson page, they will email all RD admissions decisions on Friday, March 20. Day after tomorrow. My D also applied to Dickinson which has stiffer admission requirements than Muhlenberg.

Our son was accepted ED way back in October. The admissions officer who interviewed him called him personally to let him know. He was so excited he called me at work and was practically in tears. If he could, he'd go today. We're thrilled for him.

Congratulations to all those accepted! And good luck to all.

My s was accepted yesterday, as well. We live in CT. He was thrilled! Thank goodness for the "You're In!" clue on the front as I have discovered that, despite all the known tricks, I can't read through envelopes.

Congratulations to all who were accepted! Best of luck to those still waiting to hear!

D's acceptance letter came today! She's very very happy! For some reason (fate?) our mail was delivered very early today...it usually arrives late afternoon.

congrats to lyricmom's S!!!!!!!!!Yeah!!!!! and theatremom's D too!!!!!!!

ahhh... congrats Theatremom2009! Will your daughter be attending? Will be nice to have more Illinois rep there.

mattman13 - any word, yet?

And a reminder to parents who know their child will be attending next fall. Go to the school's website, find the dates for parent's weekend next fall, and make your hotel reservations now, if you plan to attend.

Thanks, Sashusmom!

I can't wait until the rest of the school letters arrive, the financial aid packages are revealed, and the dust settles... It's so hard to know what to think without complete information. I guess (hope) it will be soon enough!

no word yet...mail hasn't come for today yet...AHHHHH!!!!

I live in Florida and my acceptance came today :)

nothing yet here. name is at the end of the alphabet so perhaps it's in that order...but who knows.

congrats to mp153!!!!!;)

Teriwtt, My D is still waiting to hear from 9!! more schools, but Muhlenberg is towards the top of the list. The next 2-3 weeks are going to be very nerve-wracking!

TheatreMom: Same here. My D is waiting on eight more schools!! But all but one are reaches and four are super reaches! So we're expecting a batch of rejections. Oh well. The good news came before the bad. :)

Almost forgot, the letter came today from Muhlenberg inviting accepted students and parents to the school to check it out. I guess they want to work on their yield from the RD pool since ED acceptees have no choice.

Correction, it wasn't a letter, it's a colorful brochure and the date is Saturday, April 18. See you all there!

Got a yes in Florida...We never visited the school so the April 18 event sounds great. Will the RD kids get the invitation soon?

^^^
My daughter is RD. She got her letter of admission on Tuesday and the beautiful and very information brochure with the invitation and RSVP in today's mail. Again, we live only 8 miles from the campus, so we seem to be getting Muhlenberg mail faster than most. If you're in Florida, you should get your invitation by Friday or Saturday.

Did the brochure some separately. Her acceptance packet had no info about this April date.

^^^

Yes, soozi1. My D's acceptance came on Tuesday. The invitation to the family event for accepted students came today. You'll get your's tomorrow or Saturday. I live close to the campus so we're getting everything a day or two sooner than most.

What is the campus like on the weekends? Does it clear out with students all going home?
