Accepting a spot off the waitlist?!

<p>i was recently accepted off the waitlist to WUSTL</p>

<p>once i was offered a spot, i was just so excited that i told them that i would like to attend.
(now the official decision letter and other forms are on the way through mail)</p>

<p>i'm just wondering whether the choice i made is a binding one or not.
i mean WUSTL is a great school, but i'm still waiting for my dream school.</p>

<p>It’s not binding. If you are accepted off the WL to another school, you can drop WashU and attend the other school. You just lose your deposit to WashU…</p>
