Accepting two college offers

Like everyone else, you have until May 1st. If there is a real issue, problem or question, call the school - be honest and direct and work it out. </p>

<p>Waitlist is different and accepted as so and is within the rules. You commit to the school you will go to and pay ONE deposit.</p>

I am waitlisted at the two schools I really want to go to (Brown and Middlebury) and have been accepted to Hamilton and Bowdoin. I would like to make a final decision after hearing from my waitlist schools. The waitlist schools encourage you to accept from another school; is it so wrong to pay the deposit on two?

Accept the waitlist spots at Brown and Middlebury. Pay ONE deposit between Hamilton and Bowdoin–if the waitlists didn’t exist, which school would you attend? (You should also prefer waitlist schools to your contingency choice, since otherwise there’s not much point in staying on the waitlist.)</p>
