Hi Everyone!
I applied for this year's Access Exeter Program. I was recently accepted and now I really want to know about life there. Who has been there before? Points I want to know are
- Dorm Life, are close friendships developed, or is it a bit akward? How are the rooms? Are they big and furnished?
- Workload, is there alot of work? Is it fun or boring homework? Do you have specific study times?
- Social Life, are the people friendly? Do you develop close friends? How are the social events? Are the trips to Boston and other fun? How about the two night three day Access Exeter trip?
Do you interact with Upper School when you are in Access Exeter?
- Athelitics? What sports? What other activities?
Have any of you been in the Global Community Cluster? Thats where I'm going and I want to know as much about it as possible. Im sorry for asking so many questions, I just really want personal sincere experiences, good or bad. You dont have to answer everything. Thanks a bunch!!!!

I am a parent but have known current Exeter students who have done access Exeter, and follow Exeter discussions where it comes up too.

Most kids love the program. Students from all over the world attend, and there is a very considerable amount of class work and homework. Not as much maybe as regular term Exeter, but you will be challenged and the classes are interesting.

Athletics are fun, and the facilities are beautiful (pools, courts, etc).

You stay in the regular dorms and eat in the cafeteria. The rooms are fair size doubles usually, and you will have a bed, dresser, closet, desk, chair and lamp. Utilitarian style, so bring some colorful blankets/pillows and posters, and a small fan if you can.

The beach is very close. Exeter is a lovely town, with some great shops and restaurants.

There may be an access exeter blog on the website, or maybe a facebook group if you check around.

Thank you so much!:)
