I applied to Yale early. My SAT superscore is 2280(CR: 770, M: 790, W: 720), but I also accidentally sent my ACT score of 33 (E: 35, M: 34, R: 29, S:35). I feel like that reading score is a bit of a blemish. I didn't plan on sending it, but realized that I had accidentally agreed to send it before taking the test. A 1560 is much better than a 33. Will my 33 work against me? Should I be concerned or am I being irrational?

Yale evaluates you for admission based on either the ACT or, alternatively, the combination of the SAT and two SAT subject tests. If you send ACT and also send SAT and subject tests it will use the one it believes is the better for you in making the admission decision.

I don’t know any college that considers your lower scores. We are sending all my son’s scores in to his top choices.
