I’ve taken the new SAT twice and am waiting to receive my scores from the October one, but I am also scheduled to take the ACT on October 22nd for the first time (very late…). I’m planning on applying early to Yale, where SAT subject tests are recommended.
My dilemma is that I won’t know until around the 27th what my SAT scores were, and I will have to immediately send my scores to Yale for the ACT (or subject tests if I take them on November 5th). I’m just wondering if I send these scores and later find out they weren’t so good, will that hurt my application? Even if I did well on the SAT?
Thanks!
You meant you plan to send both SAT and ACT, right? have you asked the college on whether they only look at the higher score?
