All,

I plan on enrolling in the 3/2 program after my junior year and the only major I can combine with Accounting, to fit into my schedule by that time, are: Finance, Operations Management, and Technology Management. Doubling with Finance just seems like such a generic thing to do that I would like to do something else. On the tests in T175 it always came back that I would be good in Supply Chain Management but I would rather do Accounting but can't get both done by the end of my junior year. Any advice helps.

Thanks

I think you can only major in accounting or finance in the 3/2 program. You have to have completed Icore and all gen eds and other stuff. You don’t have to have completed all of the upper level accounting or finance classes required for the ugrad major to get into the 3/2 program, as some of the material for some acct and finance upper-levels is covered in 3/2 program classes. You can contact the grad accounting program to find out which classes you need for the accounting or finance track prior to starting the 3/2 program.

Finally heard back and the only requirements are all of the GenEd, I-Core pre-requisites, I-Core, and BUS-A 311, BUS-A 325, BUS-A 329, BUS-F 303, BUS-F 305, and BUS-C 301 all be completed by the end of your junior year. With this it is much easier to fulfill another major and/or minor. Since I am slightly ahead I am going to go ahead and get the Operations Management major complete along with the Technology Management major and then the accounting track. That way at the end of my fifth year I will have an MBA in Accounting with Operations Management and Technology Management.

(I wanted to do International Business instead of Tech Mang. but didn’t have enough room)
