accounting internships?

Do cpa firms hire juniors for summer internships? or just students who have already graduated from a BS and are working to complete an MS/150 hour rule? I will be at 25 accounting program with a 3.8 gpa

I know a freshman who is interning for PwC and a junior interning for Deloitte so yes they definetly do. Contact your career services center to ask which cpa firms recruit at your school.

They definitely hire you if your a rising Junior!
I know so many students and from different Universities that have gotten internships at the Big 4, some sophomores, yet more of them as Juniors. Recruiters and some alumni I know say that it's pivotal to acquire an internship while in college. Sometimes the internship may be related to your future career which is a definite plus, but I've been told also to get an internship no matter what, even if it doesn't really relate to my major, but just to have the experience and maybe acquire new knowledge of other careers because you never know what you might find out.

when should i apply for summer internship positions?

I was told at orientation that firms are filling their internships sooner. Recruitment starts in the fall and most decisions are made by spring.
