Accounting major, kind of random minors

Ok, here is my dilemma:

I am an accounting major with minors in business, English, and Italian. The business minor is already complete, because it overlapped with required accounting classes. For the English and Italian minors I have three classes left for each. This is my last year of school and if I finish both minors I will be taking 18 credits for the semester, plus working. In addition I want to find a good internship in the accounting field. I feel like it would be too much to do all of this...which minor should I drop? I already studied abroad in Italy, so that could go on my resume, plus I can speak/write the language fairly well...is the minor necessary? Should I suck it up and do everything? Any advice is welcome.

Employers don’t care about minors.

Employers don’t care about majors.

College is about becoming well-rounded and Educated, not preparing for a career. A lot of people forget this. Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life!

Most people don’t work in the field that they majored in.

What a waste of time and effort you put into the minors. Sorry but employers don’t care about that at all. They will not care if you have a business minor or an English minor or even an Italian minor. And the study abroad on the resume is really of no use to you in landing a decent job.

Sorry.

Well, you’ve already demonstrated you can read/write English and you can always read literature on the side, so I would do Italian. Being fluent in Italian’s got to count for something right? Its at least a cool talent. It might not matter to employers, but go ahead and do it if it matters to you.
