I had made the decision to major in Accounting after only about the potential income I'd be able to earn, and constant pressure from my parents. It made college pretty miserable because there was no passion for what I was learning. I did well in my major and will be graduating with some strong job offers. But it's just not what I want to do for the rest of my life. My real interest is in english literature and would love to be a professor one day. How do I go about making this switch? I'm taking a few ENLT courses during my senior year but I can't imagine a English Lit grad program would even consider a student who majored in accounting. Any insight as to how I could pull this off without having to go another 2 years in undergrad. Thanks

You really, really, really need to think long and hard, because English lit is one of the most oversupplied, glutted Ph.D job markets in the country.
