So...six days till the SAT and I've been taking practice tests the past week or so and they have all been from the CB online course and Blue Book...thats a total of around 16 tests ALL from collegeboard. On all these tests I find myself consistently scoring between 2200-2300. Is this a strong indication that on the real one in october, i should expect myself to score no higher (or lower) than this range?
The low's and high's of my score distribution has been:
M: 760 - 800
W: 730 - 780 (10-12 Essay)
CR: 690- 740
I know this really won't help in attaining my goal score...but just couldn't help but wonder...how did previous SATers think of the accuracy between CB tests and the real thing? were your scores pretty close to ur practice tests or WAY off? thanks.

Use the average curve to determine your scores. This should be slightly more accurate than the collegeboard ranges (and should boost your projected score a little, I might add).

But to directly answer your question, there is a reason why everyone on CC champions the BB…it is the most accurate source of practice you can get. I haven’t taken the real thing yet, but when I asked the same question a few months back, people said that it was slightly more difficult.

hmm intersting. thanks a lot for the link! its a great help and intersting to compare.
