Accuracy of "My Chances Threads"

<p>So I was wondering how accurate "what are my chances threads" are...</p>

<p>So I'm asking all graduating seniors to post their stats below and what college(s) they applied to, and have other people <em>chance</em> them. </p>

<p>Then in the other thread (Results: Accuracy of "My Chances Threads), these seniors will post what colleges they were accepted/rejected from, and people can see how accurate CC <em>chances</em> people. </p>

<p>My hope is that CC is not very accurate, that all sorts of people get into colleges others told them they had "no chance" for, and that you should not really believe this "chance me!" business and just try your hardest in high school and hope for the best. </p>

<p>Unfortunately, a considerable number of people who ‘chance’ other really have no idea what they are talking about and how admissions really work and what you really need to be competitive at the most selective schools. There are posters who DO know what they are talking about and whose advice should be most valued. The best one is probably Waverly, who was an admissions officer.</p>
