So in the past two days, my varsity Knowledge Bowl team took first in our division (we’re headed to State) and, more importantly, I was accepted to the very competitive NSLI-Y program, a full scholarship from the State Department to spend my summer in Kirov, Russia learning immersive Russian. As an international relations major, I feel like the Russian experience could help my prospects of admission. Is this true? If so, should I email the various admissions offices and inform them of my acceptance? How would I format such an email?
Thanks so much
If you think it’s important send a short and sweet email ASAP. No need to waste time sugar coating it, make it so the rep can get the info out of the email within seconds.
