ACT and SAT for college admission

Is taking both ACT and SAT make my profile better for Ivy League admissions?

It shows you took 2 different tests. Do it. For kicks, if nothing else. The ACT has a science portion. Just a thought.

No. Scoring exceeding well in either or both is a good thing. Taking both is nothing.

Take both. If you do well on one, just send that one. If you do well on both, send both; this shows some degree of consistency, meaningless though it may be. If you do poorly on both, pick the one you found easier and try it again. They really are two different tests (that is, each requires a different style of test-taking).

take both… say you didnt do so well on your sat writing but beasted your act with writing english section. it’ll show colleges maybe you either just werent feelign writing that day or something but it’ll help compensate. eitherway taking both wont hurt you other than you lose 50ish bucks
