I am a soon to be Senior in High school, and as such I have taken my first ACT and (I believe the) SAT tests. Being from Kansas, the SAT scores do not matter much, as universities here kind of push those aside.
Anyway, I was hoping that my scores would be high enough for a chance to gain good scholarships/loans/grants, and I was helping I could get some helpful feedback?
(p?)SAT - 1650
ACT - 25
Again, these were my first trials, and I will most definitely be taking the ACT again...the SAT, I don't think I will take again.
Thanks!

To get merit money from schools you probably need 2100+ to be completely honest.
It all depends where you are applying. Some state schools might give out money for 2000+ but not for a 1650...sorry. That is just above an average score. Im pretty sure that SAT and ACT test scores do matter for admission at pretty much any college. I know that some at some state schools it doesn't matter as long as your GPA is high enough but any private university it definitely matters..

Yea, you will need to bring the ACT to around 29/30 IMO and the SAT Math and Reading to around 1350 to have a chance at scholarships at even the lower tier universities.

eh....

You can look at scholarships soley based on GPA... that is if your gpa is high enough. If not.... then reconsider looking for scholarships on something else your good at. Sports? Music?

Alright, thanks guys.
And my GPA is, at average, around 3.5. Hopefully that will get me something!
