ACT and SAT scores

So i'm applying to a school and it asks for your ACT and SAT scores and the date taken. Basically my question is do i have to include them all or just the ones that are the best. Will they just automatically look at my best or all of them or what.

Can you tell us what the application says specifically? If that's all it asks for, then just put one. They only see official scores from what you send, but they can also see your ACT scores on your high school transcript if you chose to send them to your high school. Colleges are really eager and want to see every single thing about you, they want to see all your scores, but you can send whichever ones you want if it doesn't say list all your scores.

Please indicate which test(s) you have taken or plan to take, and the date(s). Please have your official scores forwarded to IIT as soon as possible. Our SAT Code is 318. Our ACT Code is 1040.

With the SAT, they see ALL your scores no matter what because CollegeBoard sends every single test you've taken(before March 2009 that is), so I would say just list them all for the SAT because they'll see them eventually.

For ACT, have you taken it more than twice? I believe if you sent the scores to your high school, the scores would show on your high school transcript. You can only send one ACT composite in a score report, but again I need to know how many times you've taken the ACT. I had 29 and then 31 so I put both since it shows improvement, but I only sent the 31 as an official score. If your first score wasn't horrible, then it's fine to send it, they won't kick you out because your self reported score on your application was lower than your higher official score sent from ACT.
