<p>My way: run to the restroom, return, eat peanutbutter, then sit there and try to get back into concentration mode b/f starting the horrendous reading!</p>

<p>eat? My d. ate a light breakfast and brought a snack, and they would not let them eat a snack during the break at all! Is that school specific...or do all the ACT centers follow the same rules?</p>
<p>My ACT place thing didn't let us drink water in the room, but when we were allowed to leave the room on break they let us drink and eat outside, so maybe it was just your daughter's place.</p>
<p>The ACT rule is that no food or drink is allowed inside the test room. If you weren't allowed a snack outside the room during break, that was school/building policy or a misinterpretation of ACT's rules.</p>
