Can someone give me an approximate range of grades, on the 100-point weighted scale for a good place where your ACT should lie:

Ex. 36 - 104
12- 54

bump...do yall understand what I'm asking?

If you are generally an A student throughout your high school career, and you are in a fairly competitive school, and your gpa lies somewhere 3.8+, I would say your ACT composite should be 32 or higher.

hmm, don't know about that. ACT isn't as knowledged based as it could be. I'd say it depends on your test taking skills and how good of a problem solver you are. You can get really good grades in AP Calc but not score as highly on the ACT Math, especially if you are slow when working out problems. As a generalization though, I'd say an all A student should score a 28 or above depending on circumstances.

I have like a 95 GPA at a tough magnet school. What am saying is...would a 31 prove that it is tough?

I don't think the ACT proves anything is tough... I have a friend who has gotten A's all of his life and got a 20 on the ACT, but several of my friends and I scored 28+ on ours, and we have gotten lower grades in school (including my bro who dropped out of school). All of us go to the same high school, and I wouldn't say it's tough in the slightest bit.

Well how can you describe this for your friend?

what do you mean?
