The DNA one was HARD. Just hard.
I guessed on some of the RE ones.

what did you put for the base pairs 75 because i did it and im not sure though…

^ what were the options again lol

A. Only RE 1
B. Only RE 2
C.Only RE 1 and RE 4
D. Only RE 2 and RE 4

definitely either c or d. one of them cuts at 80 the other cuts at 5 (or was it 85 and 10)

you’d get a bp of 75 from those two REs. i dont recall seeing any one RE cut at 75

yeah i put RE 2 and RE 4 because you can make 75 bp out of it YAY!
do you know what you put for the second question in the last passage? one about phospholipids…i totally guessed that one without even looking at the question
anyone remember?

what was it about specifically?

two scientist having two models about the phospholipid layer but i cant remember ARGH i read the question but i totally forgot…

i rmb one question was about which of the following statements would discredit study 1 but not study 2 (or something like that)

i rmb choosing something like proteins between the hydrophobic tails, cos study one shows the proteins around the hydrophillic heads only. i cant be sure though

Oh, I think that one was hyrdophobic tails are on the outside, because I remember it said that the second guy agreed with the model of plasma membrane of the first one. And the first one said that the hydrophillic heads are on the outside
Why in the world cant we get the papers? It’ll be so much more easier for us to estimate!

was that second to last question? there was one question where it said what is true for both studies and another question where it says what is contradictory for both studies…

Yeah, That one.

@darkness but didnt the second study also agree that hydrophillic heads were on the outside?

so if the statement was about hydrophobic tails on the outside, wont that discredit both study 1 AND 2, instead of just study 1

Yeah, so thats what the question was.
Which one discredits BOTH the theory’s?
Read Timmy’s comment above.

are you serioussssss, i vividly rmb one was about which statement was contradictory to study 1, but not study 2.

gosh i hope i didnt read it wrongly

what was this question? second to last? damn what choice was this?

I don’t remember the DNA one. I had the genetics of unlinked genes for chickes, something with the periodic table, the velocity of cars, an experiment with calcium carbonate, something with voltage and charge, terrace farming and runoff, and the flowering of plants in light and dark cycles.

I wasn’t sure about how to do two questions about voltage. Why does the battery first read zero (for the graph that had a horizontal asymptote) at (0,0)? Was it b/c it wasn’t charged or was it b/c it had 0 V?

thats for the US ACT…

the one that contradicts both studies is the one where it says that the phospholipid bilayer is all hydrophobic which is not (They both said that the tails were hydrophobic and heads were hydrophilic –> i learned this is Bio class anyways)
I think i guessed on the one the question after the one with the model structure. I really didnt have time to look at the question…anyone remember?
