from what i understand brown accepts the ACT or the SAT 1 w/subject tests. as it stands your ACT is much better than your SAT 1 comparatively. A 30 is a low to mid 1300 as opposed to the 1160 you got. what are your subscores for the ACT exam especially the reading scores? b/c obviously you're an excellent math student, maybe the ACT brings out your english better than the SAT?

definitely send in ACT instead, Brown is looking for 700s on all three sections of SAT, and a 560 will definitely stick out (in the bad way). Besides, your ACT is about mid range for those accepted into Brown.

I'm just including my highest scores at the beginning of the app and then my SAT I at the end (so ACT, SAT II's, and then SAT I). So I would say put your ACT, Math II, physics, and then if you want, your SAT I

if he puts the ACT and the SAT subjects, he/she is going to have to report both the ACT and SATs, therefore his SAT I score will inevitably show up

mantiz24 My SAT is 1360... 30 on ACT is converted to mid-1300 so I was wondering if I should submit it or not. I think schools consider the compostite score more importantly.

I have a similar situation. I have 32 on my ACT (33 superscore) and I have already sent that. I also have taken the subject tests. Took math II twice, got a 710 then an 800, Chem twice, 650 then 730, Physics, 650 after less than a semester, and lit, 610. Should I submit these scores to Brown? I know they are not required, I already self reported them. (the best ones, not every single test)

Your math and chem SAT IIs are really good - I would send them. They show that you studied to improve your scores and this can't hurt you. The other SAT IIs are OK. Additionally, they are likely to look at the highest couple of scores (800 and 730 are really good scores!). You are going to have to hurry, though, to get the scores sent by the College Board.
