Does anybody know any good online ACT prep courses or ACT classroom courses in So Cal?

Anybody?

People have been suggesting me to take prep classes. I checked Princeton Review's classes, but the nearest one to me is West LA.

Why don't you just buy a book and save $1,000?
You do realize that is all a class is, right?

I bought the princeton review book a few days ago. I'll try to keep myself on track. Sometimes taking a class may keep me from getting behind schedule.

BUY BOOKS. thats how i prepared. i went to borders, and i bought just about every book on the shelf. no class needed...this is a test that can be self taught, whereas the SAT really isnt

^The SAT is the same, you don't need a class. Lots of people score high just by taking practice tests. I personally think it's a colossal waste of time and money to take a prep class just so you can score 2 points higher, which is what the end result will most likely be anyway. Work through your PR book and take the practice tests. Also take the practice tests in any preparation booklets you get too; your counselor probably has something. The best thing you can do is realize that you are better than the test. Seriously, the cocky kids are the ones that do better. There are people here that say "I don't need any studying" and they get a 32 the first time. Just relax.
