I took the September 2015 ACT today. I was just wondering… as we finished English section and moved onto math section, the proctor went around the room and jotted down something on her own “booklet”…
What exactly was she doing??
She just took a very quick look and put some note on her booklet and moved onto the next person…
she was writing down your book number so they have a record of where exactly you were (seated) during the test

Yes, proctors must complete a seating chart and if they did not give the tests out in orde,r sometimes they come around to check. Nothing to worry about.
