I was wondering if 1. ACT had a Score Choice and 2. My dad did not want me to put any of the colleges down to recieve my score, if I do get the score I want can I still send them out? Or will I have to retake them? I just realized that right now and I have been freaking out.

I think you have to send each ACT report separately, so ACT has inherent “Score Choice.” You can definitely still send out reports if you did not put any colleges down.

Yes you can still send scores even though you didn’t put any colleges down, and yes, you can choose which scores to send, but keep in mind that some colleges do ask that you report all scores.

The only difference in sending the scores now versus later is that you have to pay a fee for each college you send to. I think the majority of kids wait to see if they are pleased with their score and pay the fee.

My dad did not want me to send the scores just in case I did bad and then it affects my chances.

^That is probably a wise decision. Colleges will usually look at your highest composite, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, your dad’s advice was solid.

Okay, good thing I listened to him.
