ACT Reading: Prose fiction vs. the dual passage (which one's easier?)

Hey guys,

so when i do ACT reading, i find natural and social sciences the easiest and i usually have no problem with them. Where I get the most questions incorrect on ACT reading is the prose fiction. My question is which passage (prose fiction or dual passage) is generally easier or more straightforward in terms of questions and passage content?

Any help would be appreciated!

^The Double Passage can be any of the Reading categories including Prose Fiction. So one can’t really compare the two.

What you should really be asking, Is the Double Passage easier than the normal single passages?

Answer: Yes because you can focus on just one story which will be just one column rather than two. Then do the second story. It’s easier to focus and remember one column than two.
