ACT/SAT Scores

Hi guys,

I know UC’s look at the best examination score when reviewing applications, but do they look at the best score overall or the best score for each category? For example, say I sent in my ACT scores and my highest single sitting score is 33, and I sent in my SAT scores and my highest single sitting score is 1680. Would they look at the highest score overall ( ACT 33 only ) or the highest score from both tests? I’m not sure if I’m being clear on this, please tell me if I should explain it in differently. Thank you so much :)

No that is considered super scoring which UC’s do not do. Highest score from 1 sitting is what the UC’s will choose so your ACT score of 33 would be your highest score.
