ACT score for Ivy Leagues

So I just took the ACT for the first time on April 9th and I scored a 32C (34E 30M 31R 34S). If I want to go to an Ivy League (I have an affinity towards Brown) and have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, should I retake the ACT?

Depends on your major, but your scores are little contradicting-- High English, lower Reading and high science but lower Math. So yeah, I’d give it another shot

Have you tried the SAT? I’ve heard that most people do better on one or the other. Try a practice test and see how you do.

If the ACT is for some reason your only option, it would be worth it to retake. To have a good shot at the Ivies, I would recommend 33 or above.

Brown’s 25th percentile ACT is 30. Your current ACT is essentially neutral for the school. If you feel you have potential to improve, you would benefit from a 33+.

Already signed up to retake. Thanks for the input!
