ACT vs. SAT: Preference to Ivies?

Do the Ivy League schools prefer one test to the other? I know that they accept both, but how do they compare them?

I got a 34 on the ACT, should I still take the SAT if I am aiming to get into one of the ivies?
Also, some schools, such as Brown, require the SAT + 2 SAT II's OR the ACT. If I only submit my ACT score, am I at a disadvantage?

Thanks for any help! :)

They have no preference.

And no, I really don’t think you also need to take the SAT. That is simply great :)

I would definitely consider taking Subject Tests, though. Even if Brown doesn’t require them, some other schools you’re looking into likely will.

Best of luck!
