ACT Score Rush?

Hey Everyone

Today I took the ACT + Writing. At the end of it I noticed they said scored will be "mailed in 5-8 weeks". At first I was somewhat shocked considering the SAT is usually done within 20 days. I have an ED deadline of Nov. 10th, and I know that I can send scores after that (but I would prefer not to).

Is there any way that I can have these scores rushed to me? I chose NOT to send to to college's automatically before registration. I would like to see the scores first. If it comes in 5 weeks, it will be fine, but 8 weeks will be cutting it close.

I would be willing to pay to rush them

Anyone know? Thanks!

From the ACT website:

ACT will notify you by email when your score report is ready.

After you test, you can check to see if your scores are available online. Multiple-choice scores from this test date will be first posted online beginning September 27 through November 5, 2010.

If your scores are not available on the first date listed above, plan to check back weekly up through the last date listed. Scores are processed and added each week, usually each Wednesday and Friday. Normally, all scores are reported by 8 weeks after the test date. (See examples of why some scores take longer.) There is no option for speeding the processing of scores.

If you take the ACT Plus Writing, your Writing scores will be posted as soon as they are ready, normally about 2 weeks after your multiple-choice scores. Your scores cannot be reported until after your Writing scores have been added.

Score reports are usually mailed within 3 to 8 weeks after the test date. (Please allow an additional 1 to 2 weeks if you test in a country other than the U.S. or Canada.)
