Due to some delays, I won't be able to send in my request for the ACT score report until today. I'll do it priority, but it still won't get there until sometime next week. Is this a problem? Would it be beneficial to e-mail the admissions department to let them know that, or is it something they can handle on their own?

I reported them on the Common App, of course, which is the only reason I'm not sure whether there's a concern or not.

My counselor told me that their deadline for everything other than the actual common app is Nov. 2nd. And they inform you if they’re missing anything mid-November, so I’m sure it’s fine. I worry about everything getting there too! =)

Okay! I hope that’s the case. xD Apparently the payment won’t get there until November 2nd (business days, which makes sense now that I’ve had my “NOVEMBER SECOND?!?!?!” flip out), but it sounds like it’ll be fine.

So wait, if you’re missing something, they give you the opportunity to get it to them? That’d be nice!

I looked up the information about SAT/ACT score reporting on Northwestern’s website, since my friend’s daughter just requested submission of her scores today. On the Early Decision deadline page, it is listed twice, that the tests need to be taken by the November test dates, not that the scores have to be in by November 1. They are explicit in their requirements about other parts of the application being postmarked by November 1.
