My D just submitted her Tulane app tonight. She’s hoping to hear soon since she got it in early.
She submitted a prior ACT score of 31. However she received a 32 on last month’s test. I went to send the latest score but learned that ACT won’t send the score until the writing has been scored. Will this make a difference in potential admission/merit aid?
I don’t think so. Certainly not in the admission. Tulane does not require the written portion. http://admission.tulane.edu/apply/instructions/standardizedtests.php Let Tulane know that you know the composite is 32. Obviously they know about the issues with the ACT. Maybe you can attach a screen shot of her current online score report in an email to her admissions person. It could make a difference in the merit offer. Tulane’s middle 50% went up this last class from 29-32 to 30-33.
