ACt score

Hello there.

I have a 4.08 GPA along with a ACT score of 29 ( 95% ). Is the ACT score fine or should I try to get a higher ACT score? What’s a good ACT score for Upenn that wont hurt my chances?

Thanks

Can I add something here? What percentile ACT score does penn want? 90 and greater?

I took the ACT 4 times and my highest score was a 28 and I got into Wharton. Your 29 will get you over the first admissions hump and the rest of your application will get you accepted if it's good.

^ did you send in all 4 scores?

Are you a recruit..URM...legacy???

4.08 is meaningless. 4.08 weighted, unweighted, and out of what? 4?

Not sure what the difference between weighted and unweighted is but that GPA includes a +.5 bump for each AP course and a +.25 bump for each honors course. According to my school handbook, an A+ = 4.33

These were my junior year courses:

AP Physics B
AP Computer Science A
English III Honors
Calculus Honors
Spanish II
US History

That means that your unweighted GPA should be just below a 3.7 or just slightly below an A- average.

I didn't consider Penn until my senior year so I only sent the last two scores I took. I'm not a recruit although I won a state title in tennis. I'm asian which doesn't count as an URM and I'm definitely not a legacy. Both of my parents went to a state school. I hate it when people think tests scores are everything cuz they're not. The admissions process is much more than that.
