Hey, i was just wondering if my ACT scores are due on November 1 if i am applying ED. I am retaking the ACT on October 25 since its the earliest date it is offered for my state and I wont have my scores by the november 1 deadline. Will i be able to send it in later? thx

The ED deadlines are usually meant for all of YOUR information getting to the school. I would check the college's web site carefully. It should indicate the last possible date for standardized test taking. As far as I remember, the November test dates are OK for ED and EA deadlines. Just be sure to include the ED school in the "submission" place when you fill out the ACT answer sheet.

It certainly worked that way for SAT scores last year - the last test day was the one before the ED deadline, and we just had to make sure that we had our scores sent to Rice.

Here is a schedule for your application from Rice's website:
Rice University | Prospective Students

According to the table
"Last applicable ACT test date:
October 25, 2008" for ED

yes. The deadline is when all testing must be completed by. The scores will arrive when they can
