Ugh, D just sent her ACT scores in to ND today, the 29th, but is now worried sick because she didn’t realize that electronic processing would be delayed until January 2. She was so busy with trying to perfect the essays she didn’t think of this issue, and I didn’t think of it either. Worth a call to Admissions? Will this be a deal-killer? ND is a big-time reach for D but I’d hate to see her eliminated because of this. Definitely a lesson for the future if that is the outcome.
Oddly, thi s question has come up a lot lately, for various colleges. In general, scores can come a little bit later.
But ND says this, which implies you have time.
"For first-year applicants seeking fall 2019 enrollment, the final acceptable testing dates for the ACT are:
…Regular Decision: February 9, 2019 (must be received by February 28, 2019)"
So Jan 2 seems plenty ok.
That makes D (and me) feel better. I was hoping that the scores might be able to trickle in a little beyond the date without penalty. Thank you for the info!
