ACT Scores

I got my first score back of a 30 without much prep. I was wondering if I’m able to reach my target score of a 33+ will this first score look bad for colleges that require all scores to be sent? Would it be worth it if I improve to go through the process of deleting the score?

I wouldn’t delete it. I don’t think it would particularly hurt your chances, and it will hurt you if you somehow score lower on your retake.

@Studious99 Thanks. And I wouldn’t delete it unless I scored higher.

If you believe what colleges say, you will be fine because they claim they use the highest test scores to determine admission and do not hold lower scores against you.
