ACT Scores

Hi, so I made an account to make this post, but I was just wondering if it will hurt me in college admissions if I had a significantly lower ACT score the first time I took it vs. my recent score.

I first took the ACT in June 2017 and got a composite score of 26, and then I got a 34 in September.
I didn’t bother to cancel my June score because someone had told me that it would take several months to do, so I didn’t think it would be worth going through the hassle so I didn’t do that rip

Sorry I know that this is kind of vague, but can anyone help me out? This has been stressing me out.
Thanks

You can choose to send only the 34 to schools you’re applying to. They will never know about the 26. For schools that require ALL scores, send both but they will use the 34.

Colleges will use the higher score. They know you sometimes have a bad day
