ACT Strategies

I had a couple of questions about how people take the ACT.

Do you find it easier to read the entire English/Reading passage before answering the questions? Or do you answer the questions as you read.

Same question with the science section, do you read and look at all the charts and graphs before you start answering or do you just look up the information when you get to a problem that requires you to.

For reading, I read the passage very quickly just to become familiar with it. Then, when I went to the questions, I had a general idea where each answer was.

It worked for me. I think i got a 35 on english

Cool, did you do the same for the science and reading section?

Reading - read the passage first, then look at the questions
Science - just do the questions and look at the graphs while you answer them

well that’s what I did.
