ACT Superscore

I’m going to send my ACT scores to the colleges I have applied to in the next couple days and some of them superscore the ACT and some don’t. I was just wondering, if I send all the scores I wish to be considered to a school that doesn’t superscore, what will happen? Is it worth the time sending all the scores from different sittings? If they don’t superscore and they have all my scores, how will they decide which one to use in their decision process? Essentially, is it worth the time and money to send more than one score to a school that doesn’t superscore? Thanks in advance!

From what I have been told, it is best if you send only your BEST score to colleges that don’t superscore. There might not be any major penalty but it’s best not to give them that option, in case the reader subconsciously looks down on you. In any case, they’ll look at your highest score as the main one.
So no, i would not send it.

Generally colleges that don’t superscore teh ACT will use your highest composite score for admission. Sending another score set shouldn’t hurt but it would cost you so don’t bother.
