I was wondering if this would be possible. I’ve taken the ACT twice, and on the first go I scored high in English and science and a little lower than I would have liked on math and reading. I just took it again, and I feel like I did really well on my math and reading but I had to guess on 3 science questions because I ran out of time. My super score will probably be around 34, so I’m wondering if I can send both of my tests to schools that do not super score ACT (just so they can see that I am proficient/advanced in all sections). Thoughts?
If the institution allows you to, then there’s nothing to lose, so send both.
An Admissions Officer spends less than 10 seconds looking at a student’s test scores. Let me repeat that – LESS than 10 seconds. In actuality, they probably spend 5 seconds looking at a student’s test scores. An Admissions Officer immediately knows what an ACT of 32 represents, as compared to a score of 35 or 36. While you can certainly submit more than one ACT score – what would be the point, as Admissions will just use your best composite score. IMHO, it would be a waste of money to submit multiple ACT scores to a college that doesn’t superscore the ACT.
