ACT testing centers?

I'm browsing the options regarding ACT right now, and at http://www.act.org/actcenters/locate/index.html I'm given the option to search for a computer based ACT testing location, but then at http://www.actstudent.org/index.html when I search for my state I am given certain dates to take the test in some high schools!?

The question is, is the computer-based test the same ACT as the high school one, and if yes, am I able to walk into the testing center any time to take the test? I sure hope so.

Thanks guys.

"ACT Centers" do not give the ACT college entrance exam. They are facilities where ACT gives their other kinds of exams, like professional certification tests and job applicant screening tests, and computer-based job skills training. "The ACT" is not given by computer. The test centers are listed here.

Thanks Mrs Ferguson...
