I’m taking the ACT on July 18. Don’t exactly have the money to buy some insanely expensive course to prepare me and as far as I know the ACT doesn’t have something like Khan Academy like the SAT. I know I’ll do well on the math section but need to practice reading. Any resources (preferably free) you know of that I could use? Tips? Tricks? Thanks!
You can use the Khan Academy reading, just beware of two differences between the tests.
- The ACT does not provide line numbers like in the SAT. You’ll have to skim passages for quotes in questions which can take away time. If you use the Khan Academy practice try not to rely on those.
- The SAT uses evidence-based questions. Aka “which quote best supports the claim” or “which quote best supports the answer to the previous question”. So you can just ignore those on the Khan Academy practice.
