ACT won't let me send my scores to UCs/security issues?

So I’m thinking that this is because everyone is scrambling to get UC/CSU’s done at once, but here’s my problem:
When I tried to log into my ACT account this morning, my computer blocked their website and said that there was a chance that “attackers” would breach the system. “This server could not prove that it is services.actstudent.org; its security certificate is not trusted by your computer’s operating system. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.” When I proceeded anyway and chose a college to send it to (UC Davis) then it kept telling me that there was an error with my credit card info. Everything was definitely put in correctly and there is no issues with the card. Is anyone else having this issue? Will it be bad if my ACT scores get sent late to UC Davis/Santa Cruz/ Santa Barbara/ San Diego?

We are having the same issue! Please, if anyone can help us! That’d be great! Exact same problem. We’re in Texas and applying to all texas schools, fyi.

i got into my account, but when i try to send, it wont let me

Was able to login after going past “danger” notices. Reviewed past test scores but was unable to send any (wouldn’t accept credit card info). Suspect the ACT website is down for maintenance or being attacked by some unhappy customer…Try again tomorrow.

Same issues here. For the first time all year we received the “dangerous certificate” warning for the website and now its declining all of my credit card attempts to send scores. I called my cc company and they show that there was no attempt to charge my card. There is obviously a web site problem that won’t be fixed until Monday when they are back on the job.

I’m a little worried that entering my credit card info was a very bad idea and now some act site hackers have it.

From what I gathered, it doesn’t look like it’s an actual “dangerous” website due to a hack or anything, that warning webpage comes up when your computer takes too long to connect to a certain website (due to heavy user traffic). I googled the error, contacted bitdefender, and cleaned up my browsing data, and now the warning page is gone but I still can’t use the credit card

Whoo, it sent! I’m not sure if it was two separate things I did or both. First, I clicked the red slash on the URL and red the little memo that popped up, and then clicked something that I think said “remove certificate”. And then I tried sending the scores again, this time putting in all my info under the “if you’ve changed your information from your last test, click here”. I hadn’t done that before because I hadn’t changed my info, but I guess you still have to. Best of luck!

It worked! Thank you.

I understand that this issue has been resolved. You can try to resend.
