ACT - writing or w/o writing..please help!

Hey guys, about to register for ACTs in a couple of minutes...just wondering though, which should i register for, Regular ACT Assessment or ACT Plus Writing..i haven't done much research on ACTs..but I didn't want to retake the new SATs (one time is enough for me --). reason = my new sat scores aren't so hot...i got 700 in writing --..so considering this score, should i try for ACT with writing? or just regular? either way, the 700's going to show up on my transcript...

please give an opinion! any response is welcome...thanks so much :).

It depends on where you want to apply. Most selective schools will require writing section, so I would just take it.

The list of schools that require writing are at http://actrs19.act.org/app3/writPrefRM/

wow..thanks so much TAWS...i didn't realize that 0_o...that's really unfortunate for me..so even if i took new sat with the writing section, i'll still need to take the ACT with writing? oooh..thanks :D

There is a required English section of the ACT, so really it's if you want the essay or not.
