I took the national December ACT with writing and scored a composite of 32 (10 on writing). I was required by my state to take an ACT (March 5); however, it didn't include the writing portion. I felt very good about the test overall and expect to get about a 34. Many of the colleges I will end up applying to require the writing with the ACT. If I score higher than a 32, I also would not want the better score to go to waste. If I sent the 32 (10 writing) along with my "without writing" score, would colleges still look at the score without writing as long as the other has writing? If this situation varies by college, I am specifically wanting to know about Columbia University, the UC schools, Penn State, UIUC, or any like these.

I’d love to know the answer to this as well. Anybody who can answer this?

Someone has contacted the admission office of many schools and compiled a list for ACT supercoring:
