<p>^Exactly. It is a lot of hype about this test. If we reassure kids that they are well prepared by taking HS classes and make sure to refresh their memory in some areas of math, they will do just fine. They should get familiar with format, though, so no shocking surprizes during test. D. got much higher composite than she thought she would with very accurately predicted spread between worst / best sections and cancelled her second ACT test (we lost a little bit of non-refundable fees). We knew that Reading will pull it down in her case and made sure that math will compensate for that. She spend about 1 hours / day the week before test for prep. (no more than 6 - 7 hours total). She did not know what else she could have done. The highest was English, 0 minutes of prep.</p>
