acting auditions

ok, I'm starting to plan out and schedule auditions for my D. Any thoughts on when is the best time to schedule auditions? Say if a school has slots available 2 days in a row, say Sat. and Sun. with both both am and pm slots.....is there any advantage/disadvantage to being first? last?

Does anyone have an opinion on this?

I have no specific expertise on how these work, but cognitive psychology suggests that people have much stronger recall of the first and last stimuli in a series than they do of the stimuli that occur in the middle. So if there's reason to be concerned about getting lost in the shuffle, I would try not to be in the middle.

Try posting on the musical theater and/or arts major forums; there are experienced posters there.

My son, a music performance major has auditioned at various time slots and days, for undergrad, festivals, and pro auditions. It has not seemed to have an effect on the audition outcome in his particular case.
