I planned to apply to Occidental College. For test scores, I haven’t took it yet bc of some sort of financial problems. My GPA is between 80-85 (100 scale system). I plan to apply for financial aid @paul2752 Is that clear? I’m sorry if you confused with my answer

Is Oxy the only one you are going to apply?

How much can you pay per year? Zero?

Is 80-85 the top 10% in your school? Or is it just average grade in your school/country?

Well yeah OXY is my top choice. I can only pay one application fee.

And for the how much I can pay per year: yeah I think it’s zero. My dad’s income is very low (in US) but in my country is average.

I don’t understand about my school grade. Bc I have two: 1. School report 2. High school leaving certificate

Have you tried for application fee waiver?

I know it’s from college board but I’m not eligible for it. So yeah now I’m stuck. I guess a letter from my high school could work but idk @paul2752

Can you specify:

  • your country or education system (ie., British-patterned, French-Patterned)
  • reasons you’re on a gap year
  • parents’ annual income and how much they can contribute
  • test scores

If you have an ACT 32 or an SAT 1400, you’ll have choices without EC’s.
