Activity list on common app

I've heard from lots of places not to attach an activity list (or a resume, or anything like that) onto the common app because it can seem quite pretentious or a bit self-righteous. However, during the course of being at high school I've moved between the US and the UK, and due to previous circumstances I've somehow ended up doing five years of high school. It's quite difficult to indicate in which grade I've done what activity because it's all a bit muddled up (for example, I've done Year 11 in the UK but I've also done the 11th grade in the US). I think it would be more clear if I were to attach an activity list of some sort. Would this still annoy admissions officers?

Thanks!

I don’t know where you’ve heard that it’s “pretentious.” It’s quite common to attach a resume to the additional information section on the Common App. The purpose of your application is to tell admissions committees about your accomplishments, and they want to hear about them.
