ACTs at BC

<p>Hey, I was wondering whats a competitive ACT score at BC? For someone who has a 3.6 UW GPA applying RD from a Jesuit Prep school, but who isn’t catholic (idk if this affects decisions). Most of my class applying to BC have applied EA. </p>

<p>I’ll be applying to the business school</p>

<p>Here are my stats:</p>

<p>3.6 UW GPA (Honors/AP classes)
Bad SAT Scores…Going to use ACT score I get Saturday in place of SAT (shooting for a 32-33 which is equivalent to a 1420-1470)</p>

<p>3 on AP USH
Taking AP Macro / Micro</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:</p>

<p>Started 2 companies
Officer of Business Club
Internship at Accounting Firm
Founder of Youth Organization
Indian Dancer
Martial Arts (Black Belt)
Hurricane Relief Foundation
SADD</p>

<p>Is it true that RD is usually less competitive than EA? I don’t see how that holds true…one would think it would be the total opposite. Anyhow, would a 32-33 ACT along w/ a 3.6 UW GPA (going up…got a 3.8 UW GPA 1st quarter this yr) put me in good standing or a reach?</p>

<p>acceptance rate for EA is higher at about 40% than RD from what the admissions officer told me, but you are facing the creme of the crop for that. it sounds like your strong points are your ECs and those two companies you started, so make sure to play that up in your app.</p>

<p>I've been wondering about the ACTs at BC as well. My ACT scores (32) are better than my SAT (1930), but I don't know what BC's averages are for the ACT.</p>

<p>I believe it is 27-31, so you guys should be competitive, I had a 30 and I'm hoping I get in EA....ugh, so much waiting.</p>
