<p>You shouldn’t need to follow a set example. Just think for yourself. You’re writing a letter about your friend. Explain some attributes and then explicate how and when these characteristics were shown. In terms of how it’s written, it’s basically the same thing as writing a Common App essay but about and for someone else.</p>
